About The Position

The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for coordinating and executing full-cycle recruitment activities for IRC and supported entities. Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment, this role manages recruitment competitions from posting to offer, supports hiring managers and candidates throughout the process, maintains accurate and compliant recruitment records, and oversees candidate progression within BambooHR. The Recruitment Advisor promotes a positive and culturally respectful candidate experience, supports beneficiary employment pathways, identifies and escalates recruitment risks, and collaborates with HR Operations to ensure seamless recruitment and onboarding processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality, fairness, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Concentration in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, structured interviewing, and fair hiring processes.
  • Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of candidate information.
  • Familiarity with recruitment workflows and candidate management.
  • Knowledge of HR service delivery models and the connection between recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment competitions from start to finish with strong attention to detail.
  • Skill in building positive relationships and communicating effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, organized, and defensible recruitment documentation.
  • Experience using recruitment tools to track and manage candidates.
  • Ability to identify recruitment risks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Capacity to maintain fairness, professionalism, and consistency while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and recruitment demands in a northern environment.
  • Ability to work independently while following established processes and seeking guidance when needed.
  • Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement through process, template, and workflow enhancements.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and recruitment matters.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
