About The Position

AIFP and Affiliated Resources are seeking a relationship-driven and highly organized Recruiting Specialist. Recruiting will be the primary focus of this position, including company hiring, university partnerships, and the summer internship program. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will also serve as a trusted partner in coordinating key priorities, company initiatives, events, and communications. It is a highly visible role with the opportunity to work closely with leadership, employees, universities, and community partners. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, taking ownership, and bringing organization and creativity to a role where no two days are exactly the same.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in recruiting, university relations, human resources, marketing, communications, event coordination, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to work with candidates, employees, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across sales, operations, accounting, compliance, and other business functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruiting strategies.
  • Develop strategies to increase awareness of career opportunities and strengthen recruiting efforts, early-career outreach, and talent pipelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, career centers, professors, coaches, and student organizations to strengthen AIFP and AR’s campus presence.
  • Represent the companies at career fairs, classroom presentations, networking events, and company visits to build an early-career talent pipeline.
  • Lead the summer internship program from recruitment through completion, creating an engaging experience that includes onboarding, department rotations, meaningful projects, events, and final presentations.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the President, helping coordinate priorities, meetings, communications, and special projects.
  • Support company initiatives and ensure key projects and follow-up items continue moving forward.
  • Act as a professional point of contact for employees, leadership, and external partners.
