About The Position

The Recruiting Specialist supports hiring across Pilatus Aircraft USA, including aviation, technical, skilled, and professional positions. The role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from hiring intake through accepted offer, with a focus on proactive sourcing, effective hiring manager partnerships, and a positive candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including independent responsibility from hiring intake through offer; experience in aviation, manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, corporate, or professional environments preferred
  • Demonstrated success independently developing sourcing strategies and recruiting passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical, skilled trades, or professional positions
  • Experience independently conducting interviews, evaluating candidate qualifications, and providing hiring recommendations
  • Experience managing multiple open positions and partnering directly with hiring managers across multiple locations and time zones
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong judgment, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates

Responsibilities

  • Independent management of full-cycle recruitment from hiring intake through accepted offer, including job postings, application review, interview coordination, candidate travel, and offer preparation
  • Assessment of staffing needs and recruiting challenges with hiring managers across multiple locations and time zones; development and recommendation of effective sourcing and recruitment strategies
  • Proactive identification and engagement of qualified candidates, including passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical, skilled trades, and professional positions
  • Independent candidate interviews and assessments, evaluation of qualifications against position requirements, and hiring recommendations
  • Management of multiple open positions and competing hiring priorities, including talent pipelines and regular communication of recruiting progress and challenges
  • Coordination of candidate communication, pre-employment screenings, reference checks, employment verifications, and transition of accepted candidates to onboarding
  • Maintenance of accurate applicant and recruiting records in the applicant tracking system, including recruiting data and reporting
  • Representation of Pilatus at career fairs and industry events, development of recruiting partnerships, and support of recruiting process improvements
