About The Position

In this 6-month contract, you will work within the Northeast Region as a recruiter as we scale the markets. This high-impact role is ideal for someone eager to share their expertise in traditional staffing, openly provide feedback on current processes, and support iterative pilots as we collectively develop sourcing, screening and onboarding solutions for workers across all worker classifications looking for long-term work placements. We welcome qualified candidates located anywhere in the Philadelphia Area.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based etc)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Access to a car and the ability to travel to within targeted local market areas

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Become an internal expert on effective outbound recruiting strategies, best screening practices and optimal onboarding experiences for our workers
  • Develop and update job descriptions and specifications to ensure the Recruiting Team is well-equipped for interviews, and workers receive an accurate depiction of work environment and expectations
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates by using various outbound recruiting platforms and managing experiments to determine effectiveness, support strategy iterations
  • Scheduling and managing interviews across the internal Recruiting team, as well as conducting interviews to screen candidates for various roles across the United States
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes. Maintain notes of each interview and ensure Recruiting team is adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining an organized work-flow
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and surface these to ensure seamless experience for both the recruiting and recruited stakeholders
  • Support both Wonolo app and onboarding processes, managing the applicants and working closely with W-2 Onboarding team-members to ensure applicants are being onboarded with minimal idle-time
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Develop best practices for worker engagement and notify teams of the most effective time-lines for engagement quality as we optimize Recruiting Operations.
  • Coordinate with Engagement Managers to open slots for bench-selling when applicants have completed screening and onboarding requirements. Work with the Operations team to bench sell across the market when required.
  • Track metrics such as “application-to-interview”, “interview-to-onboarded”, and “interview-to-placed” in order to gauge process efficiency and surface blockers
  • Monitor and apply Recruiting best practices and share expertise to inform team
