About The Position

Marquis Companies offers a paid, 10–12 week internship for students interested in pursuing a healthcare career. The program is designed to introduce interns to senior services and post-acute care while providing hands-on experience across multiple talent-related departments. Interns work on a dedicated project and learn about the day-to-day operations and challenges of talent teams. The experience also helps interns strengthen people, organization, and facilitation skills while contributing to projects and supporting task and project management. The internship is available during either the winter or spring term/semester. Dates can be adjusted upon request to meet university requirements. Applicants must submit a current resume, written responses to three questions (each no longer than 200 words), and may submit up to three letters of recommendation from current or former supervisors or college faculty. Recommendation letters should be emailed directly to Isabel Taylor.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have recently completed a college or university degree program.
Have an interest in a career in health care and/or business operations.
Demonstrate strong relationship and organizational skills.
Have excellent verbal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate interviews for the talent team.
Learn the full lifecycle of the recruiting process.
Assist in identifying and sourcing qualified candidates for open positions.
Assist with reviewing and updating job postings and position descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Contribute to a dedicated project and support effective task and project management.
