About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Recruiting Coordinator to lead caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for their growing home care organization in San Antonio. This role involves building a team of compassionate caregivers who help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, building talent pipelines, hosting new hire orientations, and making a daily impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology platforms.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for recruiting activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for healthcare, home care, staffing, senior care, or service industries.
  • Experience conducting new hire orientation and employee onboarding.
  • Associate's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Source, attract, and engage qualified caregiver candidates through various channels.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support ongoing hiring needs.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Attend job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach opportunities.
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage job postings and ensure effective marketing of positions.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including background screenings and reference checks.
  • Conduct new hire orientation classes.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and onboarding records.
  • Support caregiver training programs and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all hiring and onboarding activities follow applicable employment laws and company policies.
  • Support employee recognition and retention initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with caregivers throughout their employment.
  • Help create a positive employee experience.
  • Partner with operations and scheduling teams for smooth caregiver placement.
  • Track recruiting metrics and hiring progress.
  • Assist with recruiting budgets and hiring initiatives.
  • Maintain recruiting systems, reports, and databases.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
