About The Position

SEL is growing and our Manufacturing team is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator who can support our production hiring team in our Lewiston Factory. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team where you’ll hire folks looking to join a values oriented team where they can build their careers. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with hiring teams, be creative in finding new and better ways to hire, simplify processes, solve problems proactively, and contribute as part of the SEL team to make electric power safer, more reliable and more economical.

Requirements

  • Either Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related professional experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data
  • Strong organizational skills related to managing up to 30 positions at a time
  • Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and presentation skills
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with recruiting practices
  • Applicant Tracking tools (ATS) tools experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Promote and sell SEL’s culture and values to attract candidates.
  • Follow standard recruiting guidelines and principles to attract, recruit, screen and interview candidates, flexes to meet customer needs.
  • Support production and other hiring initiatives.
  • Recommends placement of internal and referred candidates for entry-level positions.
  • Supports the development and implementation of improvement efforts.
  • Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
  • Follow area processes, work instructions, and guidelines using initiative to propose solutions to problems.
  • Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

  • Other duties as assigned.
