About The Position

Mako Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Recruiting Coordinator to support the recruiting and hiring process from initial candidate outreach through onboarding. This role is responsible for coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate communication, assisting the Director of Staffing and hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth and professional hiring experience for all applicants. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about supporting talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, administrative, or coordination experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (Paycom and Paylocity)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments
  • Familiarity with HR systems and recruitment platforms
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and leadership teams

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with posting job openings on job boards, social media, and internal platforms
  • Review resumes and assist with candidate sourcing efforts
  • Prepare interview materials and maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and onboarding documentation
  • Track recruiting metrics, interview schedules, and hiring progress reports
  • Support the Director of Staffing
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information
  • Assist with career fairs, hiring events, and recruitment marketing activities
  • Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and employment regulations
