About The Position

Ability Beyond is seeking a people-focused, organized, and motivated Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team. This role is ideal for recent college graduates or individuals looking to break into Human Resources, offering hands-on recruiting experience, professional skill development, and the chance to make an impact. The position involves providing administrative support to the HR team while gaining experience across the full hiring process. The Recruiting Coordinator will be a key point of contact for candidates, contributing to a positive candidate experience and supporting Ability Beyond's mission of serving individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience with an ATS or HR software is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Identify and screen potential candidates
• Coordinate interviews with candidates and the recruiting team
• Communicate with candidates via phone and text screenings
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers
• Work within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Support background checks, reference checks, and onboarding
• Represent Ability Beyond at job fairs and recruiting events
• Build foundational skills in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources
• Process billing documents and manage external vendors
• Support the employee referral process and follow-up on bonuses
