About The Position

The Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator will support high-volume recruitment efforts at Fanatics' fulfillment and made-to-order facilities during the critical peak holiday season. This temporary, onsite role based in Aberdeen, MD encompasses community outreach, on-site and virtual hiring events, candidate processing, and new hire onboarding support. The Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative support roles preferred, with demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to deliver outstanding candidate-facing support in high-volume or large-group settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; experience building charts, pivot tables, and utilizing filters strongly preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Oracle or similar) and background check platforms (First Advantage or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Facilitation experience preferred, particularly for new hire orientations or hiring events in onsite and virtual formats.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers at Fanatics fulfillment and made-to-order facilities to understand staffing needs, requirements, and peak-season timelines.
  • Partner with the broader recruitment team to coordinate community outreach events and on-site hiring events, driving awareness of and interest in seasonal roles.
  • Contribute to a team-first environment by providing administrative support across the full recruitment lifecycle and adapting to shifting priorities during peak hiring periods.
  • Ensure a consistently positive and professional candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process, from application through onboarding.
  • Assist candidates in navigating the hiring process, including application completion, background check coordination, and new hire onboarding steps.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations both onsite and virtually to set incoming employees up for success from day one.
  • Represent Fanatics' values and culture at community events and hiring events, creating a welcoming and energetic first impression for prospective team members.
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases with a high level of accuracy, ensuring data integrity to support informed staffing decisions.
  • Build and maintain tracking tools in Microsoft Excel — including charts, pivot tables, and filtered views — to monitor candidate pipelines and onboarding progress.
  • Identify and surface opportunities to streamline administrative processes within the pre-employment onboarding workflow.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in navigating an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, applying creative problem-solving to meet fluctuating hiring demands.
  • Own daily auditing and administrative tasks related to the pre-employment onboarding process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with confidentiality requirements.
  • Manage candidate records and documentation across applicant tracking systems (e.g., Oracle) and background check platforms (e.g., First Advantage) with precision.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including overtime availability during peak hiring periods, to ensure fulfillment center staffing targets are met.
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision, taking personal accountability for deliverables and proactively escalating issues as needed.
  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance.
