About The Position

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service, on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. They design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, making millions of deliveries globally. The People team at Zipline is seeking an extraordinary Recruiting Coordinator to join their dynamic and passionate recruiting team. This role is instrumental in ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate may be early in their career but should have experience in administrative, organizational, and operations-focused roles. They should be a self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership, a "get things done" attitude, insatiably curious, and looking to further a career in Talent, Recruiting, or People Operations. This is an in-person, onsite position at Zipline's Headquarters in South San Francisco, CA, requiring work approximately 4+ days per week.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of professional experience in coordination.
  • You enjoy wearing many hats and executing on highly complex administrative projects and events.
  • You have passion and excitement for Recruiting and for Zipline’s mission.
  • You’re able to make every candidate feel like they have a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact at Zipline.
  • You have excellent attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • You are a superb communicator (written, oral, and interpersonal), with the ability to build productive relationships and establish rapport and credibility at all levels.
  • You’re able to adapt in a fluid, high-growth environment.
  • You’re able to remain composed with tight timelines and a high volume of tasks and activities.
  • You are ethical with regard to confidentiality and highly sensitive information.
  • You possess basic computer skills and knowledge, or the propensity to learn quickly.
  • You are able to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment, and able to support interdisciplinary initiatives and projects.
  • You must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • You must be able to work from Zipline’s HQ in South San Francisco at least 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless candidate experience and recruiting process.
  • Own the candidate scheduling process from start to finish, ensuring that they receive timely information and are treated with the utmost respect.
  • Efficiently manage high-volumes of scheduling tasks, while demonstrating problem-solving acumen and creativity to refine and develop processes.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meet and greets with candidates, serving as their host, ally, and point of contact for anything and everything relating to logistics.
  • Efficiently manage and track candidates through our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), while maintaining timely and effective communication internally and externally.
  • Take on an array of special projects that advance the mission of the People team at Zipline.
  • Manage working across various time zones to serve the recruiting and people related needs of our global team.
  • Maintain interview and hiring records, ensuring these documents are well organized and consistently kept current.
  • Hold a comprehensive understanding of our team’s recruiting policies, expectations, best practices, and procedures.
  • Identify and address issues that impact the hiring process and candidate coordination.
