About The Position

The Recruiter manages the end to end recruitment process for manager and senior manager level talent across the organization. The role plays a critical part in attracting top talent, leading a high quality candidate experience, and providing thoughtful recruitment consultation to business partners.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for manager and senior manager level roles, from sourcing and assessment through offer delivery.
  • Comfort advising hiring managers and HR partners with thoughtful, market informed recommendations that balance business needs, talent availability, and candidate quality.
  • Strong capability to build and maintain proactive sourcing, pipelining, and book of business strategies to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with candidates and deliver a high quality, transparent, and engaging experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed environment, building alignment and trust across HRBPs, hiring leaders, and cross functional partners.
  • Practical proficiency using recruiting platforms and tools such as LinkedIn and Oracle to drive efficiency, visibility, and hiring outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely, and consistently while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including sourcing, researching, and recruiting talent through the offer stage.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to develop and execute strategies that attract top external talent.
  • Build and manage strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process to deliver a best‑in‑class candidate experience.
  • Create and maintain effective sourcing, pipelining, and book‑of‑business strategies.
  • Represent Macy’s professionally in the marketplace and establish credibility as a trusted point of contact for external talent interested in Macy’s.
  • Leverage recruiting tools and platforms, including LinkedIn and Oracle, to drive efficient and effective hiring outcomes.
  • Identify and pursue additional networking opportunities, including diversity outreach, talent communities, and alternative job boards.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with HRBPs to understand business needs and ensure a seamless, consultative hiring process.
  • Attend job fairs, conferences, and networking events to build relationships, identify talent, and stay informed on market trends.
  • Embrace and model the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence culture, mindset, and behaviors.
  • Develop a point of view on recruitment market trends and provide high‑level consultation to HR and business partners.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
