About The Position

We are looking for an Entry-Level Recruiter to join our team! Someone with 1–2 years of recruiting or staffing experience. This role involves sourcing and recruiting candidates, conducting phone screens, reviewing resumes, submitting qualified candidates to clients, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate information in recruiting systems. The position also includes building candidate relationships, attending recruiting events, developing relationships with local businesses, and working towards placement goals to earn commission.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of recruiting/staffing experience
• Comfortable speaking with candidates on the phone throughout the day
• Pleasant, professional, and confident personality
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Computer savvy and comfortable learning new systems and software
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Comfortable working from both our Almont and Sterling Heights offices
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service, sales, staffing, or recruiting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for open positions
• Conduct phone screens and qualify candidates
• Review resumes and match candidates to available positions
• Communicate job details, pay, schedules, and requirements
• Submit qualified candidates to clients
• Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates and clients
• Maintain accurate candidate information in our recruiting systems
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships
• Attend job fairs, career fairs, Chamber of Commerce events, networking events, and other community recruiting events
• Represent the company professionally at recruiting and networking events
• Help develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, and potential candidates
• Work toward placement goals and earn commission on successful placements
