About The Position

At Verstela, the Recruiter (Sales & Recruiting) helps talent, clients, and communities succeed through staffing services. The role involves daily sales calls to local businesses, onsite client visits, collaboration with hiring managers to develop staffing solutions, candidate interviews, and mentoring and guiding jobseekers. A large portion of the workday is spent communicating with clients and candidates by phone and email.

The Recruiter identifies candidates for open positions, develops relationships with prospective and current clients, and creates service delivery plans. The position also includes coaching and mentoring placed candidates and managing their payroll.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a client-facing role.
• At least two years of experience in a position requiring monthly quotas or sales goals.
• Proven ability to resolve customer and employee issues creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality candidates to fill open positions.
• Make outbound calls to set meetings with prospective clients.
• Coach and mentor placed candidates.
• Manage payroll for placed candidates.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential and current clients.
• Develop staffing strategies and create service delivery plans.
• Visit clients onsite and collaborate with hiring managers on staffing solutions.
• Conduct candidate interviews.
• Provide guidance to jobseekers.
