About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for hiring qualified employees who align with the organization's mission and values. This involves understanding departmental operations, sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates. The role also includes utilizing employer branding, recommending recruitment strategies like job fairs and publications, and ensuring effective communication of job postings. The Recruiter implements selection procedures to predict job success, monitors recruitment effectiveness for retention, and ensures compliance with HPH policies. They provide counsel to management on candidate selection and onboarding, prepare necessary documentation, and stay updated on legal requirements. Additionally, the Recruiter maintains recruitment metrics, reports data, and contributes to HR function improvements.

Requirements

  • 1-3 Years of Recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Hire qualified employees who perform their tasks successfully and behave consistently with the mission and values of the organization by taking regular steps to maintain a good understanding of the operations of the departments for which he or she recruits and applies knowledge during the sourcing, screening and selection process.
  • Periodically meet with leaders and visit units to ensure up-to-date knowledge on position requirements, key operational changes, and activities designed to improve the ability to communicate to candidates accurately and with enthusiasm.
  • Utilize HPH branding campaign in advertising posted positions and continually seek new and better methods of bringing the HPH mission to potential applicants.
  • Make recommendations on job fairs, events, and publications that will increase the flow of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain regular HPH job postings and ensure effective communication of the same.
  • Implement effective selection procedures to increase the ability of the selection process to predict job success.
  • Monitor effectiveness of recruitment activities to ensure that retention rates are maintained at a reasonable level.
  • Ensure that HPH maintains processes and records that permit it to defend its hiring decisions and complies with HPH policies, including transfer and promotion policies.
  • Make sound recommendations regarding necessary changes to policy or to recruitment approach for HR and the hiring managers.
  • Provide effective advice and counsel to management team members regarding the selection of candidates, effective onboarding techniques, and assist in the selection of the best fit for open positions.
  • Prepare necessary documentation to standards and ensure legal compliance.
  • Ensure that all onboarding activities are completed to meet policy and practice requirements.
  • Monitor changes in legal requirements and recommend changes to policy or procedure to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain key recruitment metrics and report data as requested.
  • Perform projects or tasks needed to continually improve the HR function within HPH as needed.
  • Maintain required metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of performance.
