About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for delivering full life-cycle recruiting services in support of staffing needs for all business units based within TBC’s corporate location. The position requires excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, manage multiple recruiting projects concurrently and interface with all levels of management. This is a temporary project lasting approximately 3 months. The position is located at our Corporate Office in Palm Beach Gardens and will be onsite 4 days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination in education and experience.
  • Social Media networking, internet mining and cold calling
  • Project and relationship management
  • Experience recruiting within distribution, transportation, logistics, automotive, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience supporting driver recruiting (CDL and non-CDL) and management-level roles.
  • Familiarity with DOT hiring requirements and safety-driven work environments.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and influence skills in dealing with all levels of management and effective at developing strong credibility and working relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business priorities and translate them into a Talent Acquisition agenda and goals that support the business
  • Ability to work both on a team and independently to deliver results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes
  • Must have ability to exercise independent judgment, handle highly confidential sensitive information, flex to changing needs and situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative driven recruiting initiatives that include candidate sourcing, candidate screening and assessment, research, market intelligence and end user advisement.
  • Drive on-going candidate pool development through continuous networking and pipelining, social media channels and internet mining.
  • Schedule management interviews, coordinate and escort candidates through the interview process.
  • Lead full life-cycle recruiting for Distribution Drivers (CDL & Non-CDL), Fleet Supervisors, Distribution Managers, and Director-level roles across U.S. operations.
  • Develop consultative, data-driven recruiting strategies tailored to hourly and exempt positions within the automotive distribution environment.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to define hiring needs, role requirements, workforce planning priorities, and talent market challenges by geographic region.
  • Support recruiting for warehouse and transportation roles in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Screen candidates for safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements including DOT standards, MVRs, background checks, and drug screening as applicable.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, trade schools, CDL schools, military transition.
  • Advertise current open roles to online and offline alumni communities.
  • Post job ads and source potential candidates on social media groups.
  • Designing and implementing recruitment strategies such as events and social media campaigns.
  • Researching hiring trends and compiling recruitment reports and presentations.
  • Managing all administrative tasks such as updating recruitment databases, hiring profiles, and applicant documentation.
  • Proven experience in full cycle recruitment to include Time to fill and SLAs.
  • Coordinate job offers and onboarding with the Human Resources Team.
  • Manage and ensure the proper usage of the applicant tracking system and deliver weekly results in a metrics-driven format.
  • Ensure compliance with company process and legal standards.
  • Perform all other tasks and special projects as requested.
