About The Position

At Family of Kidz, we are growing rapidly and are looking for a new member to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This position will help us find great candidates to join our company. The role is full-time, hybrid with mostly remote work and occasional meetings in the Westbury office. The Recruiter will be responsible for all company recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate identification, screening, interviewing, and managing hiring manager requests. This includes reviewing job descriptions, composing and posting job openings, creating interview questions, attending job fairs, determining applicant qualifications, and extending verbal offers of employment.

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting.
  • Successful work history in handling confidential personal data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player and commitment to promoting Company values.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, general knowledge of mobile device use and applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ADP/ Greenhouse a plus
  • Interest in pursuing additional training in Recruiting practices

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all Company recruiting efforts including, but not limited to, ad and job boards copy and placement; identification of possible candidates for internal transfers; initial screening and interviewing of applicants
  • Responsible for managing hiring managers’ hiring requests to establish recruiting requirements for each open position.
  • Review job description with manager to define position requirements.
  • Composes and posts internal / external job postings.
  • Creates and maintains phone, in-person, and prescreen questions.
  • Attends job fairs
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, verifying references, schedules qualified applicants with appropriate manager.
  • Makes verbal offer of employment and upon acceptance, sends new hire intake request to HR for on-boarding
