About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Recruiter partners with agency leadership and other members of the HR team to develop and implement both traditional and creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent to assure staffing needs are achieved at assigned agencies. Specific responsibilities include posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, drafting and extending job offers, developing recruitment plans, etc. The Recruiter will be the public face of the assigned agencies during the recruiting process and will maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends, and recruitment standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years as a recruiter, in a healthcare environment, required.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruiting best practices, including use of job boards and professional networks to recruit for clinical staff.
  • Ability to extract and synthesize information from multiple systems.
  • Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize competing demands in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both tactically and strategically, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term organizational goals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Flexibility to support operations that have multiple shifts and significant staffing expansions during times of growth in both current and future, geographic regions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a recruiter for multi-state operations preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare licensing requirements for home health and hospice preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, understand ideal candidate profiles, develop effective sourcing strategies and establish interview criteria.
  • Manages assigned job requisitions as received from hiring managers.
  • Serves as an expert on the full recruiting life cycle for agency leadership and hiring managers.
  • Acts as a resource for hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal & state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
  • Develops sourcing pools and talent pipelines to generate leads and sources candidates by using traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract high-quality candidates (career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, social media, Workday, etc.).
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments, makes recommendations regarding hiring decisions, and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within assigned territory.
  • Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfers offer letter, etc.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers on status of interview process.
  • Following approval of hire, communicates formal job offer to selected candidate, including employment information (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.).
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure attainment of staffing goals.
  • Uses available tools to maintain appropriate documentation on all candidates, searches, and other sourcing activities.
  • Manages application/resume files and retention according to agency policy.
  • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade and professional organizations related to related industry.
