About The Position

Working as part of the BCTS Corporate HR function, this individual will work directly with division leadership to understand business needs, develop targeted recruiting strategies, and deliver qualified candidates in a competitive industrial services market. The ideal candidate brings knowledge of HVAC and industrial services talent markets, strong relationship-building skills, and the flexibility to operate effectively across diverse business units with distinct cultures and hiring needs. While this role’s primary focus is recruiting high-performing sales professionals — including maintenance and project sales representatives, the recruiter will also manage searches for sales management, operational leadership, and other positions as assigned across the BCTS organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on sales roles, including technical sales positions
  • Experience within industrial services, HVAC, mechanical services, building services, or a closely related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across a variety of role types including sales, management, and other exempt-level positions.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse requisition load across multiple business units or client groups simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with division and brand leadership, operating as a strategic partner rather than a transactional recruiting resource.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation and influencing ability across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (Paylocity, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a centralized HR/recruiting model supporting multiple business units, brands, or geographies.
  • Experience filling roles such as Maintenance Sales Rep, Project Sales Rep, Sales Engineer, Branch Manager, General Manager or Service Manager.
  • Knowledge of prevailing wage, union environments, or service contractor structures.
  • HR or recruiting certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, CDR) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for across multiple BCTS divisions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Serve as the primary recruiting point of contact for assigned divisions, partnering closely with division hiring managers and leadership to understand organizational structure, culture, and talent needs.
  • Maintain flexibility to shift recruiting priorities across divisions as workloads and business needs evolve throughout the year.
  • Develop and sustain robust candidate pipelines across sales, technical, and management disciplines through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement.
  • Build strong working relationships with division presidents, general managers, sales leaders, and other hiring managers across BCTS divisions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each supported division’s business model, go-to-market strategy, competitive environment, and workforce profile to recruit effectively on their behalf.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers / leadership on talent availability, market compensation, sourcing strategy, and candidate assessment.
  • Collaborate with the broader BCTS HR team to ensure consistent application of recruiting standards, policies, and processes across all divisions.
  • Leverage HRIS, industry job boards, professional associations, trade shows, and other sourcing channels to identify passive and active candidates across sales, management, and technical roles.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industrial services and HVAC industry trends, competitor hiring activity, and compensation benchmarks to provide informed guidance to division leaders.
  • In partnership with Division leadership and HR, build relationships with trade schools, technical programs, universities, and professional organizations to support long-term pipeline development across the BCTS portfolio.
  • Deliver a consistent, professional, and engaging candidate experience that reflects positively on each BCTS division and the broader BCTS brand.
  • Represent BCTS and its divisions at industry events, career fairs, and professional networking functions to build brand awareness and attract top talent.
  • Maintain accurate and timely requisition and candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) across all supported divisions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide regular reporting to BCTS HR leadership and division stakeholders on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline status, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sourcing and selection processes based on data, candidate feedback, and stakeholder input.
