About The Position

This role focuses on full-cycle technical recruiting in a high-volume, goal-driven environment that supports large-scale cloud and infrastructure services. You will recruit, interview, check references, extend offers, and support onboarding for new employees, primarily within the United States. The position requires strong partnership with hiring managers and lead recruiters, as well as frequent interaction with candidates to understand their experience and career goals. You will rely on your extensive recruiting experience, professional judgment, and creativity to plan and execute effective hiring strategies for technical roles across data centers and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical recruiting experience in a high-volume environment; 6 or more years of recruiting experience if prior high-volume technical recruiting experience is limited.
  • Proven experience recruiting within the technology industry, particularly for technical roles such as software development engineers and infrastructure or data center positions.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a goal-driven environment with clear performance metrics and high hiring demand.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including experience using Boolean search techniques to identify and attract technical talent.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruiting data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and conduct effective conversations with both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to handle high-volume requisitions, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight timelines.
  • Experience conducting phone screens and coordinating a high number of weekly interviews in a structured, consistent manner.
  • Familiarity with standard recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to apply them creatively to complex hiring needs.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with lead recruiters and hiring managers while also managing an individual desk and responsibilities independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • Experience with more advanced technical recruiting, including software development engineer (SDE) roles, is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience recruiting for large-scale cloud, infrastructure, or data center organizations is a plus.
  • Comfort and effectiveness with cold calling and proactive outreach to passive candidates.
  • Experience supporting both business stakeholders (internal customers) and candidates as dual customer groups.
  • Ability to lead or mentor other recruiters or coordinators when needed.
  • Strong judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills to adapt recruiting strategies to changing business needs.
  • Openness to sharing knowledge, collaborating with peers, and contributing to a positive, fun, and learning-oriented team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer management, and support for new hire orientation.
  • Recruit primarily within the United States for technical roles that support cloud, infrastructure, and computing services, including data center and engineering positions.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and lead recruiters to conduct detailed intake discussions, understand role requirements, and build tailored recruiting plans.
  • Work in a high-volume, goal-driven environment, consistently meeting expectations for outreach, phone screens, and interviews.
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels, including cold calling, email outreach, virtual networking, and Boolean search techniques.
  • Conduct a high number of weekly phone screens and coordinate 5–7 in-person or live virtual interviews per week, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Engage in frequent one-on-one conversations with candidates to assess technical and cultural fit, clarify expectations, and guide them through the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with internal business stakeholders as direct and indirect customers, aligning recruiting strategies with evolving hiring needs and priorities.
  • Use an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, maintain accurate records, and track progress against hiring goals.
  • Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status as needed, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal processes.
  • Share learnings, best practices, and market insights with team members to continuously improve recruiting strategies and outcomes.
  • Lead and direct the work of others when needed, providing guidance and support to peers or junior recruiting staff.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish recruiting goals while adapting to changing hiring demand and business priorities.
  • Exercise a wide degree of creativity and latitude in sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and problem solving to meet aggressive hiring targets.
