About The Position

CMT is looking for a Recruiter II to own full-cycle recruiting and drive sourcing across our growing teams. This is a role with real ownership where you will partner directly with hiring managers and shape how we attract top talent. You will see the direct impact of your work as the people you hire help make roads safer by making drivers better. If you are a Recruiter who has built a strong foundation and is hungry to level up — sharpening your sourcing craft, influencing hiring, and growing alongside a mission-driven company — we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in a related field
  • 2+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a track record of sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates for technical roles
  • Proven sourcing skills, with expertise in using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and other channels to identify and engage technical talent
  • Ability to work autonomously on defined tasks and independently solve challenges with moderate supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques, including social media recruitment and creating Boolean search strings
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, such as Greenhouse, is a strong advantage
  • Experience using AI tools to make recruiting faster and more efficient — we put humans first, but value recruiters who leverage AI so they can spend more time connecting with great people

Responsibilities

  • Research and mine various channels including LinkedIn, Github, Twitter and Meetup to build pipelines of technical talent for current and future hiring needs
  • Identify and engage qualified candidates using advanced sourcing techniques, such as Boolean searches and social media recruitment strategies
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the Head of Talent to refine and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality candidates for technical positions
  • Take ownership of small-to-moderate recruiting projects, demonstrating initiative in solving hiring challenges and optimizing recruitment processes
  • Contribute to team objectives by actively participating in discussions, sharing insights, and implementing feedback to improve sourcing effectiveness
  • Assist in refining and documenting best practices for sourcing and recruiting to enhance team performance and scalability
  • Complete any additional tasks that may arise

  • Annual performance bonus
  • Equity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
