About The Position

SpaceX is seeking highly motivated, full-life cycle recruiters to support Starlink on the Go-To-Market and Business Operations front. This organization hires world-class individuals spanning sales, account management, and global consumer ops, helping drive forward billions in revenue for Starlink and broaden global connectivity in an unparalleled way. We are seeking a creative thinker who can leverage both traditional and non-traditional approaches to identifying excellent talent and has a deep-seated passion for Starlink’s mission to connect the unconnected. Successful candidates will have outstanding communication skills, be self-motivated, hold themselves accountable, have a willingness and drive to manage a demanding high-volume workload, strong presentation skills, and experience working successfully in a team environment. Comfortable communicating with all levels of stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree.
  • Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

  • Full life cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing to closing
  • Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data
  • Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their respective fields
  • Demonstrated expertise in non-standard recruiting methods: cold calling candidates and companies, organizing and executing ad hoc networking events, identifying industry experts and finding unique methods to engage with them, creating unique targeted sourcing campaigns, etc.
  • Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers including director and VP level technical leaders
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
  • Ability to accurately present but not oversell candidates to client groups; influence decisions by acting as the subject matter expert on talent but avoid dictating client decisions
  • Ability to multi-task and operate with little direction while still being an active team member

Responsibilities

  • Run a full desk with a variety of duties and responsibilities focused on the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of top talent candidates to fill mission critical positions.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm as the first encounter for many candidates.
  • Work in teams and focus on collaboration while requiring a high degree of autonomy, showing initiative, taking responsibility, and running with tasks to completion.
  • Review internal and external applications, conduct passive candidate searches, interview candidates, and act as a consultative recruiting partner to clients.
  • Deeply understand each role's requirements and how it fits into the organization.
  • Develop and execute strategies focused on creating and maintaining a strong pipeline of passive talent.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates through clear and consistent communication.
  • Find creative ways to capture the attention of candidates during initial outreach stages.
  • Manage a high volume of clients and requisitions.
