About The Position
Pleasant View Communities is a Life Plan Community in Manheim, Pa. We are looking for a Healthcare Activities Assistant who is passionate about their work. Requirements
- College degree or activity related certification preferred
- Desire to work with the senior population
- Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
- Dementia care experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of recreational programs
- Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance
- Clinical Paperwork (care plans, assessments, progress notes)
- Calendar creation/prep and implementation of structured activities for a 34 bed LTC unit
- Assist with supervision, training, and overseeing activity staff
