ABOUT THE ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, organize, and oversee daily recreational activities and entertainment programs for guests. Develop seasonal activity calendars covering sports, fitness, kids' clubs, excursions, and evening entertainment. Manage and schedule recreation staff, animators, and instructors, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Ensure all recreational facilities (pool, gym, sports courts, kids' areas, etc.) are safe, well-maintained, and properly equipped. Monitor guest participation and satisfaction, adjusting programs based on feedback and demand. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and risk management standards during all activities. Coordinate with F&B, Housekeeping, and Front Office to align recreation offerings with overall guest experience. Manage recreation department budget, including equipment purchases and program costs. Train, motivate, and evaluate recreation team members, fostering a fun and professional atmosphere. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to recreation and entertainment services. Organize special events, theme nights, and seasonal celebrations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a recreation or entertainment role within hotels or resorts.
  • Proven experience leading a team of animators/instructors.
  • Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and entertainment programs.
  • First Aid/CPR certification; lifeguard certification a plus.
  • Energetic, creative, and guest-focused.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
