About The Position
The Recreation Coordinator assists the Activities Director at Cedar Mountain Commons, a not-for-profit independent and assisted living retirement community. The role provides active and passive, group and individual activities that enhance residents’ mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs and help residents continue playing an active role in society.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain a Connecticut Public Service License with passenger endorsement within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years’ experience working with older adults is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Activities Director in providing active and passive activities for residents.
- Provide group and individual activities that support residents’ mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs.
