About The Position
The Recreation Coordinator assists the Activities Director in providing active and passive, group and individual activities that support residents’ mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs. The role helps residents continue playing an active role in society. The position is at Cedar Mountain Commons, a not-for-profit independent and assisted living retirement community where residents can maintain their independence in a safe, service-rich environment.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a Connecticut Public Service License with passenger endorsement within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience working with older adults preferred.
