About The Position

The Assisted Living Coordinator leads daily care operations in an assisted living neighborhood, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services and building and developing a strong caregiving team. The role oversees staffing and scheduling, supports care planning and implementation, monitors changes in residents’ conditions, and promotes a positive resident experience in collaboration with clinical, Activities, and Dining teams. The coordinator also supports regulatory compliance, team performance, budget management, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong staffing, scheduling, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and support operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, hiring, and development of the caregiving team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily timekeeping reviews.
• Oversee daily operations of the assisted living neighborhood.
• Ensure delivery of Resident-Centered Care and execution of ISPs.
• Partner with clinical teams on assessments, care planning, and resident needs.
• Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with Activities and Dining to enhance the resident experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage team performance, engagement, coaching, and evaluations.
• Support the department budget, labor management, and operational efficiency.
