About The Position
Hotel del Coronado is hiring a seasonal Recreation Attendant to support a fun, welcoming pool environment and deliver memorable guest experiences. The role is based at the 28-acre Hotel del Coronado resort on Coronado Island, which has more than 750 rooms, cottages, and villas. The position lasts no longer than January 2, 2027. The attendant greets and assists guests, helps coordinate pool setup, maintains the pool area and supplies, monitors equipment and facility use, and supports recreation activities as needed. Responsibilities
- Greet guests with an upbeat, friendly attitude; respond promptly to requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Confirm guest registration and assist with towels, chairs, umbrellas, and recreational equipment.
- Clean and maintain the pool area, including furniture, showers, cabanas, and surrounding spaces.
- Collect used towels, restock clean towels, and monitor inventory to minimize loss.
- Inspect and care for umbrellas, rafts, speakers, and other equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Observe pool activity, identify potential hazards, and address or report issues promptly.
- Assist with general recreation duties or special activities as needed to enhance the guest experience.
