About The Position

At Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), Recreation Attendants help provide Owners and guests with experiences and events that create memorable vacation moments. The role promotes a fun, relaxing atmosphere in recreational activities and areas, shares information about available facilities and activities, and encourages guests to participate. Attendants also register and schedule guests, process payments, and help maintain guest service, teamwork, company-policy, and safety standards.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owners and guests in recreational activities and areas.
Maintain an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
Provide Owners and guests with information about recreational facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment.
Encourage and recruit Owners and guests to participate in recreation activities.
Register and schedule Owners and guests for activities using appropriate methods.
Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address those needs.
Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
