About The Position

At Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), the Recreation Attendant helps provide Owners and guests with experiences and events that create memorable vacation memories. The role promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere across recreational activities and areas, shares information about facilities and activities, encourages participation, and supports activity registration, scheduling, and payments. The attendant also welcomes guests, addresses their needs, interacts professionally with colleagues and guests, contributes to team goals, and follows company policies and safety procedures. The position requires availability for various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days, along with the ability to perform the stated physical duties. Background and drug screening may be required, contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

Be available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Be able to reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and stoop; and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
May be required to undergo background and drug screening, contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owners and guests in recreational activities and areas.
Maintain an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
Provide Owners and guests with information about recreational facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment.
Encourage and recruit Owners and guests to participate in recreation activities.
Register and schedule Owners and guests for activities, recording information using appropriate methods.
Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
