About The Position

At Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), the Recreation Attendant helps provide Owners and guests with recreational experiences and events that create memorable vacation moments. The role supports a fun, relaxing atmosphere in recreational activities and areas, shares information about facilities and activities, encourages guest participation, and handles activity registrations, scheduling, and payments. The attendant also welcomes guests, anticipates and addresses their needs, works professionally with colleagues and guests, contributes to team goals, and follows company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Position may require background and drug screening, contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owners and guests in recreational activities and areas.
Maintain an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
Provide information about available recreational facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment.
Encourage and recruit Owners and guests to participate in recreation activities.
Register and schedule Owners and guests for activities using the appropriate methods.
Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
