About The Position

The Recovery Specialist II provides care responsive to the physical and psychological needs of members served and delivers direct and indirect services in accordance with individual service plans and Medicaid standards. This is an on-call position with shifts and days varying as needed. The Recovery Center at Sarpy is a 16-bed facility serving residents aged 19 and older who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness and are experiencing mental-health-related difficulties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; or two years of coursework and two years of training or experience; or two years of lived experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must hold current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications from hands-on courses by the date of employment or before providing direct client care, and maintain them throughout employment.
• Valid and current driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance listing the employee as a driver.
• Willingness to use a company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
• Employment is contingent on acceptable results of applicable post-offer physical examination, two-step PPD tuberculosis test, criminal background clearances, excluded-party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
• If driving is required, a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
