About The Position

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. The role provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards. This position is with Telecare North Sound Evaluation and Treatment, a 16-bed facility serving adults age 18 and older who are experiencing a mental health emergency. The scheduled full-time night shift is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The expected starting wage range is $19.67–$23.71 per hour, with a full wage range up to $27.75. Pay ranges may vary by geographic location, and starting pay depends on relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Shift differentials may apply: 6% for PM shifts and 10% for overnight shifts; weekend differentials are 5% for weekend AM, 11% for weekend PM, and 15% for weekend overnight shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting, or a BA/BS and one year of experience in a mental health setting.
Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, and of mental and physical health conditions and terminology.
Current Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) certification, or a minimum Washington Department of Health credential of AAC or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Other WADOH licenses or certifications may be considered.

Nice To Haves

Certification as a CNA or equivalent documentation of nursing skills knowledge is acceptable but not required.
