About The Position

The Recovery Services Scheduler is responsible for fielding all phone, email, and other inquiries regarding RS EDEN programs, primarily substance use disorder treatment. Primary responsibilities include communicating with callers, referral sources, and potential clients about RS EDEN services and programs, and scheduling and managing schedules for a variety of services and providers. This individual plays a crucial role in ensuring clients can access RS EDEN services in a timely manner and relate to the services that best fit their needs. This individual needs to be compassionate, empathetic to the needs and circumstances of clients we serve, and adept at problem solving and de-escalation skills. The Scheduler should possess excellent time management, organizational, and customer services skills. Ability to learn quickly, pivot between tasks, and navigate electronic health record systems is crucial. Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • One year free of problematic substance use.
  • Current Mantoux test (annual requirement thereafter).
  • Must be able to pass applicable criminal history/background checks.
  • One year off correctional supervision.
  • Expertise in customer service, scheduling, billing, problem solving.
  • Must be able to work autonomously.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • 6-month requirement between any treatment services and employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate, Bachelor, or higher education degree.
  • Strong communication both written and verbally.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast paced and changing work environment.
  • Experience answering and triaging calls and inquiries.
  • Strong computer skills and experience utilizing electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls, emails, and other modes of communication of prospective clients and referents promptly, politely, and professionally.
  • Effectively communicate information about RS EDEN programs to inquirers.
  • Accurately register and schedule clients for Recovery and Resiliency Services programs.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur.
  • Create, navigate, and manage client electronic health records and data entry systems.
  • Navigate and deescalate situations involving dissatisfied clients, offering assistance and support.
  • Conduct outreach to community partners and organizations regarding program availability, services, etc.
  • Answers questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide client focused services and a positive impression of the organization.
  • Assist in administrative tasks to support the efforts of the Recovery and Resiliency programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
