About The Position

The Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) is responsible for monitoring and communicating with clients, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, supporting client ADLs if needed, and assisting in crisis intervention. This is a critical part of the team to ensure proper care for our clients, including appropriate documentation per policies and procedures. Crestwood has provided residential mental health recovery services in Bakersfield since 1998. The Crestwood Behavioral Health Center and Psychiatric Health Facility are innovative programs based on Crestwood’s commitment to providing mental health clients with a continuum of care that puts them on the road to recovery. The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
Minimum of two years of clinical experience as applicable in a psychiatric setting
Valid CA Driver's License
Pass a DMV driving history check

Nice To Haves

In the absence of two years of experience, training may be substituted. This training will be based on, but not limited to, the in-service plan for 52 hours.
