About The Position
Crestwood is seeking a Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) to join their team. For over 50 years, Crestwood has been dedicated to creating innovative recovery programs and fostering compassionate communities that support individuals on their recovery journey. Their care model emphasizes a personal and self-directed process, empowering those they serve to develop skills for thriving. The role involves assisting in the therapeutic milieu, monitoring and communicating with persons served, providing supervised rehabilitation groups, and aiding in crisis intervention. The position is located at Crestwood Champion Healing Center, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) in Lompoc, Santa Barbara County, which offers trauma-informed recovery programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- A compassionate mindset toward those who are in recovery
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the provision of the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served
- Providing rehabilitation groups under supervision
- Assisting in crisis intervention
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing, the Program Director, or a designee
