About The Position
Crestwood is seeking a Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) to join their team. This role is for individuals passionate about helping others on their recovery journey within behavioral health. For over 50 years, Crestwood has been dedicated to creating innovative recovery programs and supportive communities, focusing on a personal and self-directed care model that empowers clients to develop skills and thrive. The position involves assisting in the therapeutic milieu, monitoring and communicating with persons served, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, and assisting in crisis intervention. The role is based at Crestwood Champion Healing Center, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) in Lompoc, Santa Barbara County, which offers trauma-informed recovery programs aligned with Crestwood’s commitment to a continuum of care for individuals with significant mental health issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- A compassionate mindset toward those who are in recovery
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the provision of the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served
