The Records Support Specialist will handle public inquiries, review, and route incoming correspondence, manage other front office duties, assist the faculty with the curriculum change process, and work with the Athletics division on NCAA eligibility requirements. This role involves performing duties as an office coordinator, including ordering supplies, typing and filing correspondence, scheduling meetings and appointments, and preparing and maintaining office records, reports, and correspondence. The specialist will also assist the public with inquiries, answer incoming calls, maintain and update student files, perform data entry, and help LU faculty with the curriculum update process. Additionally, the role includes completing enrollment verifications, verifying student athlete eligibility, assisting with student requests such as major changes, schedule changes, and address updates, and sending student correspondence via letters and emails. The position requires operating computer systems for various reports and correspondence, using modern office equipment, delivering and picking up mail, and submitting/tracking requisitions and purchases for the Registrar’s office. Special projects as needed are also part of the responsibilities. The role emphasizes student-centeredness, anticipating and responding to customer needs, and delivering work products that reflect positively on the department and the University.
