About The Position

PHEAA is a nonprofit student aid organization that holds a mission of providing affordable access to higher education. This position is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing daily correspondence received by the Agency, including document preparation, imaging, indexing, review, file retrievals, and/or file maintenance functions. The shift for this role is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay rate is $15.00/hour with a $.50 increase after 6 months of service. This is an onsite position located at 1200 North 7th Street, Harrisburg, PA. 17102 in the Records Management Department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Depending on the desired shift, one must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and routing incoming correspondence for all lines of business to the appropriate workflow queues.
  • Assist with File Maintenance activities as necessary.
  • Review electronic documents for loans being offboarded to determine if documents apply to specific loans.
  • Perform research on unidentified documents.
  • Correct document errors identified through the logging or script error process.
  • Perform mail pick-up using the Agency vehicle to/from the Post Office.
  • Other duties as assigned.
