About The Position

The Record and Parts Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the Group VI Aviation maintenance team. This position is responsible for supporting maintenance operations through work order administration, records support, parts procurement, inventory coordination, and reporting activities. This role works closely with aviation mechanics, vendors, and leadership to help ensure aircraft maintenance activities are completed efficiently and accurately. At R.D. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on assignments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while handling confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work in both office and hangar environments
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Technical school education, administration, logistics, related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Experience in administrative support, purchasing, inventory management, work order administration, maintenance support, or related field preferred; aviation industry experience is a plus.
occasionally lift or move parts, supplies, and materials up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and close aircraft maintenance work orders.
Order aircraft parts, tools, supplies, and other materials necessary to support maintenance operations.
Coordinate with mechanics to identify parts and inventory needs.
Receive, track, and document parts orders and shipments.
Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory control activities.
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
Maintain maintenance, inventory, and purchasing reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to maintenance administration, inventory control, and documentation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Group VI.
Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts department meetings and other related efforts.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
