The Office of the Registrar within the Division of Academic Affairs is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Records Analyst II vacancy here at South Carolina State University located in beautiful Orangeburg, SC.

Requirements

A high school diploma and experience in records management, information systems, or office administration.

Responsibilities

Develops and runs an efficient Records Management System to meet accreditation standards for easy storage and retrieval of records.
Coordinates and manages activities for initial and continuous maintenance of documents classified as student records with archival value.
Develops records retention schedules for management and disposition of records to ensure security throughout the transfer and elimination of documents.
Provides necessary training and continual guidance for processing, storage, and retrieval of files from an imaging system.
Analyzes, assesses, and makes recommendations of needs to provide adequate technical support for imaging and managing academic record files.
Assist with evaluation of records retention policies to ensure compliance with SC Department of Archives. Make recommendations as necessary.
Write procedures and follow guidelines for recreation in the event records are destroyed because of human error, natural disaster, sabotage, accident, negligence, or fraud.
Attends conferences related to record retention
Monitors and Process Transcript Production via Parchment
Process Grade Changes
Collect data for Academic Review Board
Process Academic Forgiveness forms
Process Enrollment Verification via National Student Clearinghouse
Assist with Graduation and Registration
All other duties as assigned by the Registrar
