The Department of Natural Resources, Support Services Division, is recruiting for a Recorder 1 in Anchorage. This position is open to Alaska Residents only. The Recorder's Office - UCC Central File unit provides filing and customer service for the State of Alaska. Daily tasks include providing excellent customer service and assistance to the general public in person and over the phone. Examining and filing UCC filings electronically, by mail, and in person in compliance with UCC Revised Article 9 and Alaska statutes and regulations, rejecting filing submissions that do not meet filing requirements. Preparing and certifying copies, UCC-11 search requests, and retention-required documentation. Processing fees, handling cash, issuing receipts, and balancing deposits to ensure accuracy. Data entry by indexing and verifying information extracted from the filed documents. UCC Central File, located within the Recorder’s Office, is a positive, technology-driven environment that produces highly skilled, knowledgeable employees committed to recording and preserving Alaska's permanent public record.
