Reconstruction Project Manager

About The Position
Plan and execute reconstruction projects while ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, and resource providers involved in reconstruction services. Manage the entire customer experience and overall customer satisfaction. The role is with the Chesapeake SERVPRO Franchise and offers a competitive pay rate with opportunities to learn and grow. Compensation includes base salary and commission opportunities; individual earnings vary based on performance, commission achievement, and other applicable factors.
Requirements
- Demonstrated customer service track record.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.
- Ability to work in challenging situations, meet new people, supervise others, multitask, show initiative, and routinely exceed expectations.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme conditions such as heat; walk and stand for long periods; drive, sit, and climb; and climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in restoration and/or construction.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Responsibilities
- Educate customers on the reconstruction process.
- Maintain communications with customers and clients.
- Ensure proper permits are acquired.
- Create project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers.
- Negotiate terms and set expectations with customers and clients.
- Manage the overall customer experience and customer satisfaction.
