About The Position
KMG Prestige is seeking a detail-oriented Recertification Specialist to join the team at Renaissance Towers in Hammond, Indiana. The role supports affordable-housing compliance and involves agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertifications, sending notices, and monitoring resident accounts. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver who manages time effectively, meets deadlines, communicates well, and maintains a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Tax Credit) and HUD/Project-Based Section 8 recertification.
- Knowledge of LIHTC and Section 42 rules.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations, HUD Handbook 4350.3, and HOTMA changes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience in affordable housing.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- COS and TCS certifications are a plus.
