About The Position

The Receptionist receives and assists patients and visitors, answers telephone calls, and organizes appointments. He/She helps to facilitate patient care by carrying out the Receptionist responsibilities in a professional, efficient, and accurate manner. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days)
  • Must have appropriate level of de-escalation training
  • Proficient knowledge and ability to use a computer (must be keyboard proficient) and other office technology (i.e., telephone, fax, etc.), MS Outlook and Word
  • Must be able to demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment and apply appropriate professional skills to a patient population of all ages

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a clerical or secretarial role in a healthcare-related setting preferred
