About The Position

Team Chevrolet has an immediate need for an automotive front desk receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude to be able to grow into an expanding position to include assisting in our sales areas relatively quickly! This individual will receive calls to the dealership, determine the nature of the caller’s business, and direct the caller to their destination.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing and positive demeanor
  • Professional presentation
  • Punctual with the ability to handle schedule flexibility
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Pass background check/drug test
  • Maintains a professional appearance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Bilingual - Spanish Speaking (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage and schedule appointments for customers and staff
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Answer dealership group phones
  • Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduces the customer to a salesperson
  • Working cooperatively with the sales team
  • Updating customer records
  • Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Assisting in the dealer exchange of vehicle process
  • Participating in customer satisfaction process
