About The Position

Cornerstone Retirement Community, affiliated with Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), is seeking a Full-Time Receptionist. Cornerstone is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health. It is Texarkana's only 5 STAR Community and is certified in the Eden Alternative Registry, focusing on person-directed care. The Receptionist will provide coverage at the front desk, serving as the primary contact for residents and the first point of contact for guests. This role involves answering and directing phone calls, patrolling buildings and grounds, and performing light maintenance and environmental upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Provides coverage at front desk in the community as a key contact for residents for a variety of requests.
• Serves as the first point of contact for guests, greeting them and meeting their needs for information and direction.
• Answers the main telephone number, greeting callers, routing calls and providing information.
• Responsible for patrolling the buildings and grounds.
• Provides light maintenance and environmental upkeep.
