About The Position

DiCello Levitt LLP, a nationally prominent law firm, is seeking a full-time Receptionist to support their Chicago, IL office. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist will handle inbound calls, welcome guests, perform administrative tasks, and manage front-desk activities such as mail distribution and call redirection. The ideal candidate will possess a positive and welcoming personality, along with the demonstrated ability to multitask.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
  • Strong ability with attention to detail
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar position required.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and other office machines (e.g., fax, printer, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional qualifications beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.
  • Prior law office experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Answering, screening, and directing inbound phone calls; taking messages, updating the office calendar, and scheduling meetings as needed.
  • Greeting clients, visitors, and guests; determining the purpose of each person’s visit and directing or escorting them to the appropriate location in the office.
  • Receiving mail, documents, packages, and distributing items accordingly.
  • Performing administrative and clerical support tasks, such as supplies ordering, scanning, photocopying, filing, typing, and recordkeeping.
  • Keeping updated records of office-related expenses.
  • Maintaining conference rooms, break areas, kitchens, and reception area.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
