About The Position

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Per Diem Front Desk Receptionist to our Team! This position plays a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience by greeting guests, answering inquiries and directing visitors. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming environment while providing exceptional customer service, efficiently managing front desk operations.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of customer service, receptionist, administrative, or healthcare office experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction.
Maintain ethical conduct and keep confidential personal and medical information about patients.
Must be very flexible in working hours and able to work holidays when needed.
Able to work different shifts: Weekdays 7am - 8pm (2 shifts), Weekends 8am - 8pm (2 shifts)

Responsibilities

Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and appropriately.
Direct visitors to patient rooms, departments, and hospital services.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges as needed.
Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and other hospital departments.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve routine concerns professionally.
Maintain organized reception and waiting areas.
Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and record maintenance.
Assist with departmental projects and other duties as assigned.
Manages escorts to ensure patient deliveries are completed in a timely fashion
Completes extra projects as assigned.
