About The Position

Heartland Villa Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dependable, organized, and friendly Receptionist to serve as the facility’s first point of contact. The role helps create a welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the facility in Lewisport, Kentucky.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Professional, friendly demeanor and the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

Perform reception and telephone duties, directing calls and messages appropriately.
Greet and assist visitors, guests, residents, salespeople, and other individuals entering the facility.
Communicate professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail as directed.
Assist with maintaining personnel records and organizing resident and bookkeeping records.
Type and prepare documents, reports, letters, and other correspondence.
Maintain updated lists of residents, emergency contact numbers, on-call personnel, and key staff.
Schedule meetings, conferences, and other appointments as directed by the Administrator.
Monitor and sell meal tickets as needed.
Assist with new employee orientation and other administrative duties as assigned.
